Gusai wrote:I'm not a huge fan of the expansion I admit it too, but, with that being said, I have to agree with Bees. I think what they have done with the original zones, as well as adding the new zones to the old world, has been done pretty well. You have to remember as well, that during all of TBC and WotLK, people kept complaining about how the old world was forgotten espcially since you co9uldn't fly in Azeroth etc. I think, this is new content, just in old zones. Just because it's the same layout as the old ZG when it comes to terrain, it doesn't mean you can't call it new content, because that's exactly what it is. New strats, new abilities, different ways to appoarch each boss, and I for one, although I go ugh... ZG and ZA..... I might qactually enjoy it this time around because it is 5 man... I have to say, I did enjoy Deadmines and SFK a million times more than when I used to run them in vanilla.... with that being said.... I'll stop because I've put in more than 2 cents.
Nah I'm not saying there is NO new content, it's just lacking. If they didn't keep redoing old dungeons I wouldn't have anything to say.. but they do. If I were an alt person I'm sure I'd love the old zones redone... so far though Ameerah and I are only level 24 or something with our Worgen alts. We haven't played much at all. If we continue to play I'm sure it will be quite enjoyable.

At least there aren't any changes to locks this round, that in itself makes it unusual.

kilt, now that rift is out i have been in the head start for about a week, the game plays like wow as far as style, but isn't as easy. The game is always changing as far as the world. there is LOTS to do. I really like the class systems, a ton of variations. The game isn't hard to learn but mastering is not as easy. pure dps class, 2 mobs you have a good change of dieing. As a whole, if your looking for a game that is easy to pick up and play b.c it plays like wow, but at the same time you also want something that is SO SO different and new, Rift does it well. If you don't embrace all the other options besides just questing, than yes it can be a lil boring unless you love questing lol.
