Thought I'd make this thread.. in line with "That's a wipe..." thread. Excuses for going AFK or leaving the raid, either the excuse or the REAL reason.

Reply and I'll edit them into this list.

My personal one:

- Emergency AFK - phone call... (I actually went outside to watch the Fireworks across the lake on Canada Day.)

- AFK, heard a mouse in the kitchen - I then proceeded to shoot it with my pellet gun. This Level 63 elite mouse had been evade bugging my mouse traps for over a month. A single aim shot crit incapacitated him though. Several more shots finished him off.

I like Lishtus' excuse for going AFK when the stitchings in his arm came out, or something like that... bleeding to death, AFK.

- AFK, spilled pepsi on my keyboard

- AFK, mouse batteries are dead

Does, "I wasnt really AFK" count?

I think the spilling of pepsi on the keyboard should techincally go under the "That's a Wipe" thread

This one isn't Timeless so don't edit it in at the top, its from way back in Insurrection.

oh and Sorry I dissapeared last night, my wife threw the breaker, and when I went down to flip it, she had a pallet made up on the floor and candles lit.

hmm Jedic why didnt you just say sojourner, unless some else has cut der foot.

"I'm going afk for sex and cookies." is my personal favorite.
