Did anyone play? Did anyone RAID? Was Ironforge a ghosttown or a mecca?

You did better than we did. Another discouraging thing was mounts. We only had enough gold between us to buy one mount at level 40, despite doing well on the auction house with everything we found, even selling blues that were upgrades for us rather than equipping them.

Is there some other forum everyone is posting on these days? Or is it just discord?

I tried to level up, but didn't have it in me. I made it to 49.

How's everyone going in classic? Ameerah and I played for a while - to level 35 or something. The nostalgia was great for a while but we just didn't have enough time for the grind. The modern WoW as we know is targeted to casual players, so when we started playing that with our heirlooms, mounts, gold etc it just suited us better, being casual players now haha.

It was nice seeing lots of old timers in Classic though.

I have been busy leveling my Druid. It's been fun.

The reason they don't release it all at once is that some of the later content was really meant as a catch up mechanic and so it can be used to skip content. Like you can probably do the later raids with just ZG and DM gear plus whatever resist gear.
