Your plight is one close to my heart, my mom had kidney failure and was on Dialysis for many years, she was too old to be high up on the kidney donor list so she was never able to have the surgery. I visited her in dialysis which she had twice a week and brought my son with me who was 2yrs old at the time, and he was always able to put a smile on her face and help her forget about the situation, and everyone else there doing dialysis loved having him wander around innocently and talk to people.
