Lol.. It wasn't a hoax (but not a missile either), it was a slow news day, and optical illusion. You know how many almost exactly the same photos that are out there of plain contrails lighting up in the sunset doing that?

"Attack ads" wouldn't be used if they didn't work.

It's really easy to call someone a "super liberal" or "the man" (not in exactly those words) and make a good portion of the population distrust them more.
