not really, they had a lot more time on the PTR to pre-kill these bosses, took about 2 weeks for the first Ragnaros kill there in normal. And everyone agrees that normal modes of last tier was too hard for about 2 months after release. (remember all those nerfs they did back then to normal modes?......

They also nerfed the old tier so we should be able to do full clears for that gear for those that still need it.
