The lake in front of my house is very low this time of year. You can go out a hundred feet or more in places, and if you're a fisherman, you can collect all those lures you lost the previous summer. At this point, it has only just been warming above 0 celcius for about a week or two, so there is still a lot of ice left on the lake and shores.
