I've been reading this ongoing story of Jill Carroll who was a reporter abducted in Iraq for a few months. You've probably heard of her. I found it a really interesting story to hear of how they treated her throughout captivity. They offered her food, were concerned about her health, well-being and tried to convince her they were not evil, but fighting for a cause... even after they had killed her associate simply because they thought he was American and abudcted her at gun point.
