Depends on which Green Lantern you're thinking of - there have been several (they're part of the Green Lantern Corps, so it's not just a single individual like Batman or Superman). Alan Scott, Hal Jordan, Guy Gardner, and Kyle Rayner are caucasian, while John Stewart is African-American. Got a chance to see it in SC a while back, and it was so good I went again to see it in SF. Not sure if there are any other tour dates people can catch it at, but if so the films are definitely worth it. Plus there are raffles for free north face stuff if watching people push the limits of what's humanly possible doesn't do it for you.
