Agreeed. There's a ton of potential for him to meet the ranks of his idols. It'll take some help from his idols to get him to the North American market. I'd say he's a complete cross between Jackie Chan and Jet Li; Jackie's stunt style with Jet Li's vigor.

That's only because it was pure raw energy. :)
IMDB wrote:when his demo reel was seen by director Prachya Pinkaew, the film Ong-bak (2003) was created for Panom, who is now going by the name of Tony Jaa
When a movie was made for you, then yea, it's going to be the best of your filmography. :)

Damn, is this an Asian guild? O.o haha

With those movies you usually have to ignore the cheese factor and just watch it for the fighting.

cheese is ok. as long as it's not as cheesy as say... Black Mask... or worse... the US version of Black Mask.

Good cheese exists too!

Shaolin Soccer and- to a lesser extent- Kung Fu Hustle. I loved kfh, but shaolin soccer was just fantastic. I laughed so hard that I almost peed in OTHER people's pants.

Shaolin soccer was pretty funny, but I did enjoy KFH, that was some good fun.

the drunken master was awsome. really good fights in there. it just took a while for jackie to make non-cheese movies. I do think that this guy that was posted above is better than Jackie and Jet.
