I didn't make this, got it from the general forums works like a charm.


Vent Normalization makes every bodies voice the exact same volume. In essence, you won't blow your ear's out or have difficulty hearing people.

Here's how:

- Go to Setup

- Enable Direct Sound

- Select the SFX Button

- Select Compressor and click Add.

- Under Compressor Properties use the following settings

- Gain = Adjust for how loud you want people to be. (I use 15)

- Attack = 0.01

- Release = Around 500

- Threshold = Around -30

- Ratio = 100

- Pre delay = 4.0


This way everyone sounds the same and you never have to ask anyone to turn up or down their mic ever again.

Col needs a DKP bonus for that, just my opinion

Are you sure you've been with Daemon when he got loot?

Sure, Guapa is a screamer too, but his voice just blows out my speakers, my windows remain intact.

Too bad the supersonic sound doesn't contribute to his dps... maybe then he might stand a chance of keeping up with me.
