Photography Game 6/20-6/24 [Topic: Anything!]

Post by Ankhart »

<The Eternal> Photography Game

I thought it would be fun to set up a creative outlet on our forums for those who are interested. This game does not require require fancy professional equipment – but it does require creativity. I know there is a bunch of you interested in photography out there, so let’s have some fun!
This game will start fresh weekly, and each round will have a new theme. Each week’s theme will be selected by the winner of the previous week. Winners will be determined by open voting (you don’t need to submit a picture in order to vote) in a voting period before the next week starts. Voting for your own picture is not allowed. Once a winner has been selected they will provide the new topic for our game!
There are a few rules, but once you start going you don’t really notice them. They aren’t there to get in the way of your creativity, but rather to provide guidelines on where to begin. Most of these rules are flexible; so don’t be afraid to bend them within reason.
The intention of playing this game is to get people out and shooting new and different things, stretching their creativity and to get ourselves talking about our own and others’ photography - have fun with it!

Rules
• You must take the pictures yourself in the week of the posted topic
• Photographs may not be photoshopped
o No borders or signatures
o No color editing or enhancement
• One photograph and one vote may be submitted per week
o Voting for your own photos is not allowed
• Photo size is limited to 1000 pixels on the longest side
• In the case of a participant winning two weeks in a row, the winner will “passâ€

The rules need to be amended so that nudes (especially self-portraits) are disallowed. Female posters have a clear advantage, and I'm not pervy enough to compete with that.

this thread delivers!
Madness does not always howl. Sometimes, it is the quiet voice at the end of the day saying, "Hey, is there room in your head for one more?"

PESKY's POLE! :) Which is the pole down the 1st base line in Fenway Park in Boston, MA.

The Wife and I visited my brothers and Dad in Boston last week and we were able to catch a game at Fenway.
