Corehound isn't a code.. it's sent when the account is linked to an authenticator.. it just shows up in the mail.

Yeah T you can get the authenticator app for your iphone
here.
I'm not sure if you get the pet with that one though. You might have to purchase the physical one to get it? It's only $6.50.

yup. the pet wont get taken away.
but it's worth using the authenticator anyway, to reduce the chance of your account being hacked

I heard that if you remove the authenticator, the pet DOES go away. I think I read that on WoW.com or something. They even said it was a good way to prove that officers who have full guild bank access, have an authenticator so the guild doesn't get ripped off. Just ask to see their core hound pet.
