I read that. I like the part where they claim they admit to mistakes all the time and then list off some really freaking trivial things like Heroic Strike being too strong so they nerf it.

He also starts off the post by saying lots of people aren't having fun any more, and they are aware of it, but then in the end of the post, still say "we didn't make any mistakes in Cata". If a large portion of your players aren't having fun anymore, that's kind of a big mistake.

you are confusing "lots of people" with "a large portion of your players"

I'd have to agree with bees. Cause for all your people like whoever who cry over how hard things are now you have people like me or guka, who are having way more fun playing this game than we have since bc or vanilla specifically because that challenge and corresponding sense of reward and accomplishment is back.

guka is back?
Madness does not always howl. Sometimes, it is the quiet voice at the end of the day saying, "Hey, is there room in your head for one more?"

I love a challenge. And if anything in this expansion is challenging, it's healing. I do enjoy a return to the model of mana management over keeping the entire raid at full health. I do get a little discouraged that DK bloodworms heal for more than my big heals (excluding crits), and the general attitude in LFD groups makes me want to delete WoW. I do forsee more changes to healing in the future as they continue to increase healing power of spells, such as in the PTR patch.

I'd comment but I'm sure none of you want to hear my sober rant, I'll wait to get muted on vent when I really can go off about this fucked up game.

Somehow I missed the response to this. It's great you're having fun. Other people are not. You and Guka aren't the only ones who play.

Not at all. Since we have no statistics to work with, however we do know that the larger portion of players in WoW are more casual than we are. I'm quite sure they don't enjoy siting in queue for 45 minutes only to have the group wipe horribly a couple of times and disband. I've heard far more complaints from guildies about the retardedness of heroics and the pathetic rewards for such a huge effort than I have heard from the opposite side. A small sampling but still a good example of what is going on.

Hence they're nerfing everything next patch.
