We are going to stay in state and spend a few days hiking in Telluride and Aspen. Wildflowers are at their peak right now so it should be beautiful and much cooler than the brutal heat of Denver
About what Fritter? Being 40 <sob> ? Sadly no joke.
Brutal heat of Denver?
No joke there either, it is awful. It was 100 on the 4th and has been in the 90's a lot. So while that might not seem bad to people that are used to it it is a HUGE change for the typical 70-80's we usually have in the summer. And its been humid which is also very odd.

ooof! One of a long list of reasons that I live in the Pacific Northwest. My comfort zone tops out right around 65 degrees. Been in the upper 70s/low 80s the last week or so, but cooled off a bit today.
